Kitten hit by car rehomed with loving family

A black and white kitten who was hit by a car has recovered well and managed to find a new loving home.

The cat was brought into Battersea Dogs & Cats Home by a member of the public, who saw the kitten involved in the road accident.

His leg was badly damaged but miraculously he had not broken any bones. He spent time recovering in Battersea's clinic so he could rest and let his leg get better.

Soon after he was adopted by Doon and Tim Cole, who named the cat Mr Jinx after the animal in the comedy film, Meet the Fockers.

Ms Cole said: "He doesn't seem to be having any trouble at all with his leg - he's still able to jump on the sofa, climb our curtains and hop on our laps whenever he gets the opportunity.

"He loves getting as much attention as possible and we’re making sure that he gets all the fuss he deserves."

Phil Robinson, a vet at Battersea, added that Mr Jinx had been through a lot for such a young age, so they were pleased he has made such a good recovery and can enjoy his new owners to the full.
