A black-and-white Collie who needs pet medication for her dermatitis is looking for a quiet home with a new family.
Five-year-old Heidi was taken to the RSPCA after there were concerns raised about her welfare. Her elderly owner was no longer able to provide the care she needed, so is now looking for a new place to live.
However, she has had a very sheltered life and is not used to lots of people or noise. She is finding kennel life stressful so ideally she will be rehomed in a rural retreat.
Louise Rowe, supervisor at the Little Valley Animal Shelter in Bakers Hill, said: "Heidi is a very sweet dog, but she has lived outside in a very rural area so she has not been walked on a lead before or heard normal household noises.
"And she is very nervous so she will need things to be introduced to her slowly."
The RSPCA added that dermatitis is an easily managed condition through steroids and baths.
