As well as feeding a pooch healthy dog food, to keep your four-legged friend in optimum health, exercise is essential.
Agility lessons can be one way to keep you and your pet in good physical health, which is why two fitness gurus have championed the skill.
Olympic sportswoman Sharron Davies and fitness guru Rosemary Conley are set to attend the International Agility Festival being held at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire between August 12th and the 14th.
Ms Conley said: "Dog owners have the luxury that there are a wealth of sports and activities that they can have a great time doing with their dogs by their side. The festival is not only the best way to find out all about these sports but is also a really fun day out."
Ms Davies added that agility classes cost little money and your dog "will always be eager to get out and spur you on".
The International Agility Festival is open to all Kennel Club registered dogs, be they pedigree or cross breed. The show is sponsored by Purina PRO PLAN.
