Some of Britain's most-talented dogs are to be given the chance to show off their skills to millions of a special Day canine talent show.
With Pudsey's win in the latest Britain's Got Talent showcasing what four-legged performers can do, ITV has confirmed it will screen a special hour-long canine talent show over the festive season.
As well as Pudsey himself, animal-lover Bill Bailey and Sharon Osborne will make up the judging panel, with the winner to be given the opportunity to perform at next year's Crufts and, presumably, a big hamper of luxury dog food.
Announcing the news, Richard Holloway, managing director of production company Thames said: "We're delighted to be working with our very own Britain's Got Talent winners again as well as Sharon, Bill and Christine [Bleakley] for this one-off Christmas extravaganza, all under the watchful, and discerning eye of Pudsey of course!"
Earlier this month, singer-songwriter Fiona Apple postponed her latest tour in order to be at home with her seriously-ill pet dog.
