The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been spoiling their pet puppy with dog toys and treats for the last few months.
Now, however, the name of the animal has been revealed. The Cocker Spaniel is named Lupo, Catherine Middleton revealed.
She shared this information with a group of children who were receiving art therapy from one of the charities she is involved with.
During her visit to Rose Hill Primary School in Oxford, Catherine met children who were taking part in therapy sessions run by the Art Room.
The organisations uses drawing and painting sessions to help children who have low self esteem or shyness.
Lisa Hancock, manager of the school's art room, said: "The children had chosen a dog for her to cuddle during the lesson. She said 'what's it called?' and we said 'would you like to give it a name?' and she said 'I will call it after my dog'."
The couple, who married in April last year, got the puppy before Christmas.
