The London Pet Show welcomed 66 crossbreed dogs into the heats for this year's Scruffts dog show.

Of these entrants, four pets were chosen to go through to the final of the Scruffts Crossbreed Family Dog of the Year, which will take place on November 10th and 11th at Discovery Dogs in London's Earl's Court.

Golden Retriever/Poodle cross Blizzard was named Most Handsome Dog and Missy, a Bearded Collie cross won the Prettiest Bitch award.

A Pug cross called Treacle won the Child’s Best Friend award and A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross named Little Miss Naughty Kiss Me Kate won the Golden Oldie prize.

Anna Drinkwater, owner of Missy, said: "I rescued Missy when she was 11 months old and I was her third home. We do agility for fun and also do a few tricks, although nowhere near as good as Pudsey!

"She is extremely confident, revels in attention and loves being in the limelight!"

Richard Davies, who owns Blizzard, said his dog is affectionate, loyal, obedient and eager to please and that he loves walks and playing.

The London Pet Show took place on May 12th and 13th.
