Jet, the winner of Crufts, is fed a specific diet of dog food to keep her healthy, it has been revealed.
The Flatcoated Retriever has two meals of dog food a day, which consists of a mixture of dry food and meat, reports The Scotsman.
Jim Irvine, Jet's breeder, also revealed that the secret to the nine-and-a-half-year-olds success is plenty of fresh air and a good personality.
He told the news provider: "The lifestyle and the personality are the secret
"We have six acres of land which is fenced for Jet. When he goes out in the morning, he stays out until he wants to come back. He roams with the peacocks and geese who he gets on with and he sleeps at the bottom of my bed."
Mr Irvine also revealed he does not take Jet to training programmes, but that before going into the show ring, he takes the prize winning pooch on a "little run".
Jet was named Best in Show at Crufts on Sunday (March 13th) after beating 21,000 other dogs vying for the prestigious title.
