A disabled couple are searching for two men who saved their Labrador’s life after he fell into a river in Norfolk.
Ray and Sue Cole, both pensioners, were walking their 12-year-old dog Charlie in a riverside spot at the River Ouse at Denver Sluice, reports edp24.co.uk.
The couple suspect that Charlie twisted his back and fell into the river. As both Mr and Mrs Cole are disabled, neither could go after him to save his life.
Luckily, however, two young men passing by saw what happened and went into the river after the dog.
Mrs Cole said: "We said thank you, but a simple thank you’s not enough for what they did for us. They put their lives at risk, he's an eight stone dog."
Anyone who has any information about the men who saved Charlie’s life is being asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
