Chef offers gourmet treats for pets

Pet owners across the pond will no longer have to feel guilty about stopping for a bite to eat while their four-legged friend stares on longingly.

Chef Michael's Food Truck for Dogs, which has just opened in Phoenix, offers tasty dog food in flavours such as grilled sirloin steak and beef short rib, MailOnline reports.

The main ingredient of the meal is actual meat mixed with tender and crunchy kibble, Aaron Methvin, spokesman to Az Family, noted.

The artisan meals, which can cost up to $10, allows owners to feed their pets quality dog food while they also enjoy the offerings from various truck stops.

Niky Roberts, spokesperson for Chef Michael's, the Purina-owned brand that operates the nationally touring truck, said:  "We create chef-inspired meals for dogs. We work with nutritionists, dog behaviorists and even chefs to create meals for dogs that are nutritionally sound for them and meet their needs."
