Family reunited with pet cat after six months

A happy family are now once again buying cat food after being reunited with their kitty after six months.

The Denny family from Bridgewater were left distraught after their black and white moggy ran out of their home last Halloween, reports thisisthewestcountry.co.uk.

However, six months later their cat, named Star, was spotted by Jack Denny, but he was not sure if it was her.

Michelle Denny told the news provider: "He came home and told me, so we drove back and there she was.

"I just grabbed her. We are in total shock she's back - she's our baby. It has been horrible since she has been missing and now I just cannot stop staring at her."

She added that she wanted to thank everyone who helped put out posters when Star first went missing and that she would now be getting the cat microchipped.

The RSPCA recently urged owners to get their cats microchipped, as it is the most reliable way of tracing an animal if they go missing.
