Our customer asked:

I have some elderly chickens, still laying the occasional egg, which I keep as pets. Unfortunately every now and then they fall to what I am told is peritonitis. It seems that they are too old too produce eggs without contracting the malady. I have found that a certain amount of baytril will stop their suffering and they start to feed once more. I expect they will stop attempting to produce eggs in the end. The vet would rather 'put them too sleep'and I cannot get a prescription any more. Perhaps you can find a way to help me?

Our reply:

Although we cannot send Baytril without a prescription, we can send non-prescription medicines. A product I would recommend for you is "NAF Life Guard Tonic". It can stimulate the immune system in a natural way and might be able to keep your chickens healthy for a bit longer. Perhaps this would be worth a try. It is on the website.
