Can the Indorex spray be used in a household with cats and rabbits? I noticed it contains permethrin which I thought was toxic to cats? If so, what household spray can you recommend please?

Our reply:

Obviously you must not apply this product directly to cats, but it is designed to be safe for cat households and it is safe if used as directed. I would recommend keeping the cats out of the sprayed area for 2 hours, with all doors and windows shut. Then open the windows and doors and let some fresh air through for 10-15 minutes. After that it would be perfectly safe for cats. You can spray different parts of the house at different times if you need to, so that the amimals can be indoors but not exposed to the spray. Permethrin and related compounds are toxic to cats, but not in the minute amounts present if you follow the above advice.

If you are worried, you could try a different household flea spray to Indorex.
