This is a dietetic complementary feed.
Composition: each 4g sachet contains Maltodextrin & Casein.
To be administered to the horse once daily; available in convenient, single-dose pouches.
For oral use. Mix the contents of the Zylkene Equine pouch(es) with a small amount of food, once a day:
- Body weight of horse up to 500 kg: 1 to 2 Zylkene Equine pouches per day
- Body weight of horse 500 kg and over: 2 to 4 Zylkene Equine pouches per day

I bought this for a horse suffering with general anxiety with life. There were occasional days when I thought maybe she was a bit more chill but they were infrequent and random. I gave the whole course with pretty much no effect

Zylkene is works brilliantly. I bought 4 sachets for my mare as she had lost her confidence travelling in a new trailer. I had tried her in the trailer the day before giving her Zylkene and the short journey had not been successful with a very stressed horse. I gave her the Zylkene and took her to the beach. The difference was amazing, no sweating and hardly any movement in the trailer. It isn't the first time I have used Zylkene. I used it a few years ago when I took my horse to a local parade and it really helps relieve the stress.

Unfortunately Zylkene does not come in tablet form, it is only in sachets of powder.

Alpha-S1 Tryptic Casein- an ingredient derived from a milk protein which has calming properties. In an apple flavoured powder.

Zylkene is not on the FEI's banned substances list so is not tested for. However, any calming or performance-enhancing agent is not allowed, according to FEI regulations.
