A round, free-standing feeding tray, great for offering outdoor enrichment to wild birds. The tray has a mesh base which will quickly drain rainwater, thus preventing food spoilage and its wide dimensions will hold a considerable amount of food- enough to last the day!

I wanted ground feeding trays because they're a lot easier to clean than the actual ground(!) whilst also allowing water to drain. These were half the price of some others I almost bought, but despite this are very strong and well made.
They hold a surprising amount of food given the fairly compact size, and most of my garden birds took straight to them (the others will get the hang of it soon, I'm sure).
I was a little concerned they might tip if a larger bird perched on the edge, with them only having three small 'feet', but I've seen a collared dove perching with no problem and so far the woodies just put their heads in :)
My only niggle is that the glue from the label is stuck to the middle of one of the trays and cannot be removed, but I worry it may loosen in bits over time and the birds might ingest it. Something to keep an eye on.

Bought this for my ground bird visitors and they seem very happy to use it, albeit they tend to stand in it whilst eating but that's birds for you.
