Have been using this product on a fairly elderly dog for about a year now. I would say that the food may have some beneficial points with regard to joint care but even more importantly it does most definitely control weight gain. This in itself is a major plus for an animal with rheumatic/arthritic joints.
Great price and service from VioVet.

my dog is diabetic, he has been on Hills wight control , but will not eat this anymore. I have started him on Wagg because it is sugar free, He is 11 years old. Which food would suit him best. He is on insuline and has contact leanses so is on medication for his eyes.

There is a lot of debate about this subject, but many people now believe that the best foods for diabetic dogs have no sugar and very little carbohydrate of any sort. That means a very high meat content which is expensive, but makes for better glycaemic control. Orijen is the leader in this field and I would recommend Orijen Senior as the ideal diet for your older diabetic dog.
