I have a 12 year old Weimaraner who has problems with his digestion and his stomach is often bloated after eating. He also produces a lot of gas & you can often hear his stomach gurgling loudly. I tried this after seeing the reviews and can honestly say it really does work! It hasnā€™t stopped the problem completely, but it is much less frequent now, my dog also seems much more comfortable after eating. I would definitely recommend this product.

I wish I'd known about this before. Since buying it for our dog, her stomach is so much better, basically it started helping from the first day. If your dog has a sensitive stomach or IBS, I definitely recommend.

Pancreatitis

Tina

Is this product suitable for dogs with pancreatitis? My dog has just survived surgery for twisted intestines and pancreatitis so is now on a low fat diet

  • VioVet Staff

This product is great to help settle intestinal upsets however it is chicken based, if your dog has pancreatitis then any change in diet can set this off. I recommend sticking to the diet that your vet advises only.
You can use unflavoured probiotic sachets, such as Purina Pro Plan Fortiflora. This still contains some animal proteins but it less likely to cause an issue compared to other probiotics.
