We needed to replace the cone which the vet put on our cat and this one is perfect. He seems very comfortable in it and likes having his head scratched as he can't do it himself!

I thought it was great that the buster collar clips in place instead of the standard ones you use with a collar. However it unclips multiple times. I wouldn't recommend

Yes this collar is great for use after a bitch spay surgery. You can also use an inflatable collar depending on where the incision was, for routine spays this is usually along the belly.
