I had high hopes for this being effective in providing whole mouth /all teeth protection quickly and easily. One spray each day - job done!
However, my reality was that it’s not easy or readily accepted. The description said this was a quiet spray so as not to alarm the animal. Unfortunately this proved not to be the case either.
I have cats. A breed that is naturally curious and highly social. I’ve trained them to kiss for treats and to be trustful of me, however the spray was not well tolerated and both immediately ran from me after giving them a spray. It’s alien to them I know but they quickly learned to hide if I had the bottle in my hand. I decided I was not prepared to force this on them against their will and continue to create negativity in my relationships with them particularly as there are other products on the market I can try.
Possibly a dog would be easier and happier to have this treatment.
As a concept, to cover all teeth quickly this is a brilliant idea, and if it is accepted by your pet(s) it’s got to be a sensible thing to build into your routine but sadly this is not for us.
Perhaps the manufacturer can produce a much smaller (& therefore cheaper) bottle so that pet owners can spend less first time to see if their pet will accept this as having purchased this, it will now be of no use to us.
All in all I’d say this is most certainly worth a try simply because the potential is there to do so much good in preventing tooth decay and gum problems in a very easy 1 spray a day solution.
If you buy be prepared for failure (especially with a cat).
I cannot review on its effectiveness so in fairness to the product’s potential to help others I will give questions I can’t answer on a long term use basis average scores

Does this product help gingivitis in dogs?
Gingivitis is an inflammation of the gums. It is often caused by bacteria and plaque inn the mouth. This gum shield spray aims to help reduce bacteria/plaque and so can reduce gingivitis. However it is unlikely to break chunks of plaque off so if your dog has severe dental decay then you are not likely to see a significant difference to the gingivitis itself.
