Description

Verm-X is a 100% natural, palatable and easy to use formulation that controls intestinal hygiene whilst being gentle on the gut and digestive system.

Verm-X creates an environment in the gut and digestive system which is able to attack and expel challenges in this area.

Whereas chemical products generally work on whatever challenges are present at the time of feeding, the environment Verm-X builds is designed to stay active throughout the year, so that so long as fed as instructed, it is able to stop anything from settling and doing it's damage, keeping your horses healthy and you happy!

The herbs used in our equine formulation have blood cleansing and gut maintenance properties.

We recommend that all equines have regular faecal checks to avoid unnecessary control programmes. Faecal tests should be performed 21 days after the last day Verm-X is fed.

Verm-X is ideal for horses and ponies sensitive to pharmaceutical chemicals and can be used solely all year round. There are no known resistances to Verm-X.

At last a convenient, natural and palatable way to ensure intestinal wellbeing for your horse. We don’t use syringes.

Q & A

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Verm-X Equine Herbal Supplement for Horse, including answers from our team.

Pinworm

Michele Whitelaw

  • VioVet customer since 2016
  • From: East Dunbartonshire, United Kingdom

Is this product affective as a complement treatment in treating specifically pinworms?
Vet has recommended a course of wormers and stable disinfected, groom kits, rugs ect.

  • VioVet Staff

This is a herbal supplement which creates an environment in the gut and digestive system which is able to attack and expel challenges in this area. It does not contain any medicative wormers and so is not proven to kill pinworms. It is recommended to only use this alongside a good worming plan and to primarily go with your vets advice on treating the issue.

Question how many pellets in a large tub

Caroline Rogers

Hi how many pellets are in a 1.5 kilo gran tub I have 3 horses to worm

  • VioVet Staff

I am not sure how many pellets there are in each tub but the quantity of pellets is measured in weight. The recommendation for horses over 11.2hh is 50g per day over 5 consecutive days every 3 months. So for 3 horses you would be using 150g a day. A 1.5kg tub would therefore last 10 days so you should be able to get 2 courses out of each tub.

What worms does it cover?

Karen Holliday

Please can you tell me what worms this has an effect on? Tapeworm,Redworm,Bots Ect;
Many Thanks

  • VioVet Staff

The manufacturers do not state what this product targets specifically. However this is a herbal remedy rather than a treatment for worms. As well as herbs to control intestinal challenges there are herbs in Verm-X for blood cleansing and others for gut maintenance. The herbs included in Verm-X have been carefully blended together to work synergistically with each other.
