Our elderly Weimaraner happily eats these and is still pretty active so hopefully they are helping and there is no evidence to the contrary. Reasonably priced for the hope value.

I have 2 golden retrievers (so not picky eaters!). Both around 38/40kg. What would their daily dosage be please?

  • VioVet Staff

Hello

Thank you for your question.

The recommended dosage would be 4 tablets per day for each dog.

Hope this helps.

Do cats generally take these easily? Are they hard or soft? What's the dose for a cat?

  • VioVet Staff

Generally these tablets are well accepted and I have not heard reports otherwise. However cats are notoriously picky and will depend on the individual cat. You could try wrapping the tablet in Easypill Cat Putty which is designed as a tasty treat to disguise the tablet if your cat is particularly picky. The dose for cats up to 2.5kg is half a tablet daily and cats over 2.5 kg is 1 tablet daily.

  • VioVet Staff

The recommended dose for dogs between 10 and 30kg is 3 tablets a day so a pack would last 15 days.
