TopSpec's specially designed 10:10 Joint Supplement offers a superb nutrient specification that supports the healthy development and natural maintenance of joints, in a tasty caramel flavour. Whilst beneficial to all horses, the types that will experience the most positive results include those required for extreme athletic performance (dressage, show jumping, endurance, driving, western riding, eventing). Horses that are subject to general repeated strain (elderly or those working on poor surfaces) can also greatly benefit from TopSpec 10:10 Joint Supplement.
TopSpec 10:10 Joint Support contains a generous combination of natural sources of Glucosamine (10g/500kg horse/day) and MSM (10g/500kg horse/day). Glucosamine is a precursor and component GAGs, of which Hyaluronic Acid is a well known example. GAGS are essential constituents of cartilage and synovial fluid.
MSM is a bio-available source of sulphur and helps to maintain optimum function in connective tissues such as tendons, ligaments and muscles. It promotes fluid dispersion at injury sites via its role in the permeability of cell walls.
TopSpec 10:10 Joint Support also contains a blend of anti-oxidants, i.e. vitamins C, E, beta-carotene and natural tocopherols, to combat excess free radicals around the joint.
ANALYSIS:
Nutritional additives per kg: Vitamin E E3a700 5,000mg, Vitamin C (from ascorbyl palmitate) 20,000mg, Beta Carotene 1,000mg.
Technical additives per kg: Natural tocopherols E306 1,000mg.
Composition: Cooked maize, Glucosamine 200g per kg, MSM (methyl sulphonyl methane) 200g per kg, sugar, salt.
Analytical constituents: Crude protein 12.7%; Crude oils & fats 2.3%; Crude fibre 1.0%; Crude ash 12.0%.

Does what expected and price very competative

Currently using this product to support recovery from a suspensory injury. Seems to be providing some benefit. I'd also like to acknowledge the viovet team. The product arrive badly damaged. Whilst no product was lost the container was badly damaged. I notified customer services - more so they could take it up with their courier service. They got back to me quickly and applied a discount credit to my account. They did not have to do this as I didn't lose any product but it is much appreciated. A level of customer service we don't see very often now. Well done.

This supplement should be good for my horse . Hard to say definitely as vet tells me it will take about three months to see the improvement. There is no problem getting him to eat it- he even licks out the feed bowl.

Used for a few years now and it certainly works for our pony aged 18. He doesn't show any symptoms of stiffness since the first year of using it and he loves the caramel flavour powder which we add to his food

How much do you feed a 17hh per day
The average 17hh horse will weigh 650kg. The dose is 10g per 100kg of horse per day, so I would advise using 65g per day for your 17hh horse if you want to give the full recommended dose. This can be halved for maintenance.

Does this product contain HA? It is unclear if HA is part of the glucosamine? Thanks
HA is not part of glucosamine, it can be included separately in some products as one of the ingredients, but it is not in this one.
