could you please tell me if you can run a horse on this product racing coming inside the bha rules?
Vitamin B12 contains Cobalt (which is prohibited over a certain threshold) so you would need to be careful you don't go over threshold. The BHA guidelines suggest that no more than 5mg Cobalt should be given orally in the day preceding race day. Multiplex contains 5mg of B12 so if there is no other B12 in the diet could be given on the day before race day. However I would strongly suggest you check this with your own vet to make sure oral supplementation provides only the amount of Cobalt necessary without going over threshold.
