Good as a base filler for home mix

I was searching for so long a food to change my mouse diet as he is getting older. He refuses to touch anything from this food so I had to mix it with his old mix and hope he will eat it. Unfortunately it doesn't work, he chooses his old mix and leaves all the food from this mix on the side. I switched to block formula and oat cereals plush his old mix, which I made myself from high quality hamster food, two types of high quality bird food mix and meal worms. He definitely prefers grains and seeds than any other type of food like dried veg or dried peas.
Unfortunately I mix all his favourite food with this food so now I have to clean more often because of all the food leftovers that build up every day, he simply does not touch them.
Another minus of this food is that it contains whole corn which is bad for mice and it can have mould which infects the rodent. There also big granules of whatever processed food it is, which my mouse completely ignores as like they are not at all food.
I definitely won't repeat buying this food, neither I will recommend it to people.
On the photo you can see all the spilled food from one of his bowls - he went through it and didn't find absolutely anything that he likes in there and he doesn't touches it since.
Very disappointing. I will have to throw away all his food soon and leave only the block formula and meal worms. I am gutted.

My rats enjoy this mix and generally eat all the different bits in it. it has a good range of ingredients and if your rats aren't too selective about picking out only their favourite bits, it is a good base to which you can add fresh food items.
