I bought this product as one of my two rabbits had been treated for bladder sludge. Transition from other feed was easy as my bunny obviously loved his new food. I am very happy with this product and will continue to use it for both rabbits.

I was recommended this by my vet as my rabbit needs a low calcium diet. It is more expensive than pellets obviously but much more suitable for my rabbit and may well save me future vets bills. My rabbit loves eating them!

Q & A

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Supreme Science VetCarePlus Urinary Tract Health Formula for Rabbits, including answers from our team.

Is this suitable for guinea pigs?

Lisa

Can this be given to guinea pigs with urine sludge and a history of bladder issues?

  • VioVet Staff

Supreme who manufacture this feed have advised it may be safe for short term use in guinea pigs but the nutrients may not be suitable in the long term. They recommend using the Selective Naturals Guinea Pig Grain Free diet instead as this is what they usually advise pigs with urinary issues go onto.
