My rabbits love these sticks. They are high in fibre and low in protein; therefore good for my elderly buns; one being nine years old. These are much better for them than carrot or apple, and they both really enjoy them.

After reading all the positive reviews I thought I'd give this product a try, especially since it is so cheap! The ingredients, packaging and overall quality of this food is great...but the bun is having none of it!! Definitely worth a try though - as he is known for being fussy!

I couldn't agree more with Suzanne Rooke! All eight of my rabbits are on Fibafirst and have been for a good year or so. It has a much better fiber content than pellets (they come as long-ish sticks rather than pellets) and is better for teeth too. Maple, my rex, is extremely greedy and was prone to choking on pellets (we nearly lost her twice when pellets lodged in her throat). She has never choked on these as she has to stop and chew, not just stuff as many pellets in as she can! So it is also excellent for greedy rabbits.
A lot of rabbit food brands contain junk that a rabbit shouldn't even be eating, such as corn. This isn't just bad for them, it can be potentially fatal, causing blockages, GI stasis and other things like sticky bottom syndrome (my first rabbit was prone to this - and GI stasis - until I found out it was the junk pellets we were buying causing her problem - one we realised how bad they were and switched her over to better food, the problem went away)
I would highly recommend this to all rabbit owners. Remember to change your rabbit's diet slowly as a quick change can upset them and lead to GI stasis.
