I bought two of these to overcome the problem with my African Grey throwing his food and water bowls around. Unfortunately the mechanism that holds the bowl to the cage is totally ineffective at keeping the bowl secure. Being a plastic screw thread means you cannot make it tight without stripping the thread. The design means that the bowl can easily be removed by an average sized bird. The bowl size is good but the mounting brackets are useless.
