Description

ROYAL CANIN® Educ is a canine nutritional supplement used for positive reinforcement during training sessions with your dog.

Available in 50 g bags, ROYAL CANIN® Educ rewards are suitable for adult dogs and puppies over 2 months old. ROYAL CANIN® Educ is a low-calorie alternative to rewarding your dog with conventional treats and snacks that may exceed their recommended daily food intake. ROYAL CANIN® Educ is specially formulated with a limited calorie content (less than 3 kcal/unit). These rewards combine a reduced calorie intake with high palatability in order to appeal to your dog’s appetite.

ROYAL CANIN® Educ also contains a specially reinforced antioxidant complex – including vitamins E and C. This complex of vitamins helps to support healthy cellular function. Daily rationing of ROYAL CANIN® Educ is important in order to support a healthy body weight and shape for your dog. Be sure to reference the on-pack feeding guide to find out your dog’s recommended daily intake. At Royal Canin, we put your dog’s nutritional needs first. That’s why each of our products is formulated to the highest quality, with balanced nutritional precision. Please consult with your veterinarian to determine the best diet for your pet.

Q & A

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding ROYAL CANIN® Educ Training Treats for Dogs & Puppies, including answers from our team.

Are these suitable for diabetics?

Jess

My 14 year old pup was recently diagnosed with diabetes and we are looking for suitable treats for her. Would these be okay for a diabetic dog?

  • VioVet Staff

Any treat or food is safe for a diabetic however changes to the diet like this can change your dog's insulin requirements. Whether giving treats is safe or not greatly depends on how well controlled your dog's diabetes is. I advise discussing this with your vet as only they can answer this question.

My dog has pancreatitis and my vet has prescribed the GI low fat diet. Can I use these treats for him for training? Are they low fat?
