Below are some recent questions we've received regarding ROYAL CANIN® Educ Training Treats for Dogs & Puppies, including answers from our team.
Jess
My 14 year old pup was recently diagnosed with diabetes and we are looking for suitable treats for her. Would these be okay for a diabetic dog?
Any treat or food is safe for a diabetic however changes to the diet like this can change your dog's insulin requirements. Whether giving treats is safe or not greatly depends on how well controlled your dog's diabetes is. I advise discussing this with your vet as only they can answer this question.
Rosemary Coles
My dog has pancreatitis and my vet has prescribed the GI low fat diet. Can I use these treats for him for training? Are they low fat?
Thank you.
These treats are formulated to be very low fat and should be perfectly suitable for your dog.
