It is always best to see your vet if you are unsure of what is going on with your pet's eye. If there is ulceration to the surface of the eye itself then it is really important to get prescription medications from your vet and not try over the counter drops first.
These drops are great cleaning or disinfecting the eye though such as if the eye has become dirty. It should never need to be used more than two or three times daily for this use. If the eye is particularly painful or sore then you should only use the drops alongside veterinary advice.
