Irregularities in bowel movements is a common complaint for dogs and cats, whether it be due to not getting enough fibre in their diet, from stress, over enthusiastic hunting/scavenging, or if they are just prone to the odd bout of tummy troubles.
ReguTum™ Fibre Care is a high fibre prebiotic and probiotic powder formulated for comprehensive long-term support to encourage:
Healthy digestive function.
Normal anal gland function.
More regulated bowel movements.
Given daily, ReguTum™ Fibre Care is formulated to avoid problems that arise from insufficient dietary fibre, support the digestive tract, and is ideal for long-term use.
For short-term support and to firm up loose stools, we recommend using ReguTum™ Probiotic Paste.
Contains high levels of soluble and insoluble dietary fibre to assist with improving the bulk and consistency of stools to help regulate bowel movements and encourage the emptying of the anal glands.
Bentonite clay helps to absorb toxins in the gut and firm faeces. (Also making them easier to pick up!)
Prebiotics and probiotics help increase the number of good bacteria in the gut to aid healthy digestion.
Contains a range of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, B12, C, D, E and K to help nourish and promote better overall health of the digestive tract.
In a palatable powder form which can easily be mixed in to food for easy feeding.
Mix directly into food. Divide the recommended amount evenly between the number of meals. If using dry food, a small amount of water can be added to the powder to help it adhere to the kibble if needed.

Daisy loves the taste and I can say it has helped with her gland problem. We have not had to visit the vet to have her gland emptied for 12 months now, this I find great because we were having to see the vet every 8 weeks. I have also got a couple of my friends buying it for their fur babies that have had the same problem.

Our little Siamese cat has had problems since breaking her hip and rupturing her bladder after a fight with a seagul. She’s found going to the loo very difficult for the last 3 years and it was costing me a fortune at the vet when she got bunged up. I bought this following our last trip to the vet hoping it would help her and it really has. Luckily she’s happy to eat it when mixed with a more expensive cat foot pate and I add some water and a little laxapet and give it a good mix. She’s certainly finding it easier and more comfortable using her litter tray now and isn’t being sick due to straining to go. Very pleased

I bought this because it was cheaper than Pro-Fibre, which our dog eats with no problem. But he wouldn't eat his food with ReguTum powder either sprinkled over it or mixed in with it. So it's back to the more expensive Pro-Fibre. Interestingly, my daughter's dogs reacted in the same way to ReguTum powder, although they're happy with Pro-Fibre.

What’s the difference between ReguTum Fibre Care Powder and Regutum Gastrointestinal Powder and is it beneficial to feed both, or would they clash please?
They both contain the same probiotic so it is not usually advised to use both as you would be doubling up on this. The difference is that the Fibre Care Powder contains stool firmers and fibre, so it is more targeted at normalising stool function and anal gland expression. The Gastrointestinal Powder contains Cobalimin (VitB12) alongside a few other ingredients which aim to support the intestines themselves. If you would like advice on which is better for your specific pet then please get in touch with their symptoms at [email protected] so we can advise.

Hi. Is this suitable for kittens?
Yes this is suitable for kittens as long as they are weaned.
Mandie
He is on single protein ,grain free hypoallergenic food. But hid flatulence is awful. So was wondering if this would help?
This supplement does aim to help normal gut flora and so can stabilise issues like flatulence. It is not grain free though so if your dog is on a special diet for other reasons then it is best to avoid this. I recommend the ReguTum Gastrointestinal Powder instead, but this does contain chicken flavouring so your dog will need to be non-reactive to chicken.

Would this be ok for my 16 year old dog who has liver and kidney problems due to her age
This powder is suitable for dogs of all ages. If your dog has underlying conditions though then we recommend discussing this with your vet first. It's main effect is carried out in the intestinal system, however if the liver or kidney conditions are severe then any change to the diet can be an issue. It is worth ruling this out.

Can you use this this everyday long term?
Yes, this supplement can be used safely daily in the long term. It is actually advised for this use for certain conditions, like assisting recurrent anal gland problems.
K
Is this suitable for puppies (21weeks)?
Yes, this powder is safe for use in pups as long as they are weaned.

Approximately how many scoops are there per 100g? I am trying to compare weekly feeding costs for our three dogs.
Each full scoop is about 6g, so there are about 17 scoops per 100g.

My 10 year old Golden Retriever goes to the toilet multiple times a day but poops water or little bits of poop. She struggles to poop. She also struggles to control it and may poop little bits everywhere in the house. This is an ongoing issue and been to the vets a few times and they've advised nothing is wrong, she's very active and healthy, yet unable to poop properly. Is this suitable for her to help her?
ReguTum Fibre Care Powder is a probiotic fibre gut supplement that aims to help normal stool production and gut function. If your dog has abnormal stool production then it is worth trying a course of it. If it is effectvie then it can be continued safely in the long term.
If your dog has constipation as the cause of these signs then it may not be suitable. It is worth ensuring this is not the case first. From what you describe though (watery defaecation) it is more likely diarrhoea is the cause of this and ReguTum Fibre Care Powder is a good choice.
