ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition Since 1968, Royal Canin has been following the belief that nutrition plays a key roleâ¯inâ¯supporting the health and wellbeing of cats and dogs.â¯This isâ¯whyâ¯we have designed ROYAL CANIN® veterinary diets aroundâ¯provenâ¯nutritional science in partnership with veterinarians, delivering healthâ¯nutrition forâ¯pets with specific healthâ¯needs. ROYAL CANIN® Dental ROYAL CANIN® Dental is a complete and balanced diet, that is specially formulated to help support and manage oral hygiene in cats. Plaque control This formula helps to reduce the formation and build-up of dental plaque. Brushing effect The shape and size of the kibble support grasping of the food, as well as tooth penetration into it. This helps to reduce the accumulation of plaque and tartar. Hairball complex Thanks to a specific blend of fibres – including psyllium – this formula helps to control the formation of hairballs by helping to eliminate ingested hair through your cat’s stools. Urinary health This diet promotes a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Important to note Please consult with your veterinarian to determine the best diet for your pet. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10-day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount.

I was advised to buy this type of product by my cats vet. I chose this, offered it to my cat, it’s her favourite food. She has not yet had her teeth inspected by her vet but the sound of the crunchy diet encourages me that I chose the right product.

We have a very old cat with extreme long hair and find the royal canin hairball food very helpful. The purina wet food is very popular with my cat but we limit it.

A good product which keeps the tartar at bay on my cats' teeth. Not the cheapest of cat biscuits but as they are specifically designed for dental purposes and do the job, then they are a much cheaper way of keeping my cats' teeth clean than taking them every year for a descale and polish at £350 each.

All my cats love these biscuits and have a Hollywood smile.

After one of my cats nearly died from a blocked bladder, and having to radically change his diet, and most treats he could no longer have, our vet recommended these to add to his dietary foods. I mix 1 cup of these to two cups of the urinary dry food. It certainly seems to be helping his teeth, as they appear cleaner and also his breath is not so smelly, which is a bonus in itself!!
