Can i open the coating and pour the powder into her mouth directly before meals?

my dog never finishes her meal but always has leftover. so it would be a problem if mixing the powder with food. can i simply open the coating and pour the powder into her mouth directly? if yes, should it be fed before meals or after meals?(my vet told me to feed her after meals)thanks a lot!

This is much better to mix in with food. I suggest you give her a starter and a main course in future (even if they are the same food). Mix the product with a little food, then give more when she has finished. (You risk making her fussy an overweight by always giving her more than she can eat. That is up to you, but I would suggest you cut down so that she would like to eat a bit more but runs out. It is much healthier that way...)

Using Pro-enzorb with kibble

Can the enzymes be sprinkled onto dry kibble and served immediately or should they be mixed with moistened food and left to incubate?

  • Non-Executive Director

The enteric coating of this product means that it is not active until it has been through the stomach and arrives in the small intestine. This is to protect the enzymes from the destructive acid found in the stomach. There is no benefit in mixing it with food and leaving it to incubate, it is designed to be mixed then eaten straight away.
