Prices quoted are for delivery to all parts of mainland UK except certain Scottish postcodes (where the price is higher for items sent by courier. Delivery of food abroad (including Channel Islands, N. Ireland and other islands around the UK) is charged at a higher price and free delivery is not available. Temperature controlled products, such as Insulin, are also not always subject to the standard and/or free delivery options.
For full information on our delivery charges, including prices on heavy deliveries to Scotland and abroad, see our delivery information page.
We can deliver most items to all around the world, but prices do vary. The majority of light weight orders (less than 1.5kg) can be delivered for a flat rate of £10. For an accurate estimate of the delivery charge, please put the items you require in your basket and use the "Estimate Delivery" system on the shopping basket page (you only need to enter your country and postal/zip code) for a quick quote. For deliveries to the USA you may need to go to the checkout page and enter your full address to get a quote (as some services need your state in order to quote too). For more information on international deliveries, please see our delivery information page.
Due to air freight restrictions aerosols cannot ever be sent abroad by Royal Mail. We appreciate your understanding.
Some products, such as insulin and frozen food, need to be delivered in insulated packaging to prevent them from getting too warm (or too cold) during transit from us to you. Purchasing any of these items in your order will result in a £1.99 charge being added to the total to cover the high cost of the insulated packaging materials. You only pay the £1.99 once per order, regardless of how many temperature controlled items you purchase in that order.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Protexin Quick Fix for Horses, including answers from our team.
My horse has had spasmodic colic at a recent competition resulting in a withdrawal, I was told this product may help him, he is never outwardly stressed and it seems to happen the day following travel
This product is likely to be helpful for your horse. It is intended as a 6 day course and can be given as and when you travel (starting a few days before). However if you are competing regularly it would be better to use a long term supplement such as Protexin Gut Balancer on a daily basis.
I need to travel my horse for a day and wounded how long before I give her the quick fix and how much should I give her? Do I give her more than one? She gets stressed travelling so anything I can do to help I'll try.
Protexin Quick Fix is intended for settling disgestive upsets caused by stress, so it might be worth having something like this on hand if you horse tends to get an upset stomach while travelling.
There are a number of calming supplements you could try. I'd recommend looking at NAF Magic first- it comes in 'instant' paste for short term use, and in liquid and powder form for longer term use. NAF Magic is a magnesium-based calmer which may also help your horse to relax his muscles if he is tense during the journey. I'd recommend trying one syringe the night before her journey, one syringe an hour before loading her and perhaps one part-way through the day if she is still very unsettled.
Other popular products to consider would be Confidence EQ or Zylkene. Confidence EQ is a pheromone-based calmer- the gel is rubbed into the nostrils and the pheromone should help her to feel more reassured. Zylkene contains a protein extracted from milk which acts on certain receptors in the brain to produce a calming effect. Your horse should be started on Zylkene a couple of days before the journey, one sachet per day is she is under 500kg or two sachets if she is over 500kg. The morning of the move, give her another sachet (or two). This product can be used longer term also.
All of these products can be used alone or together as they work in different ways and will not affect the others. I hope this is helpful, best of luck with your mare's trip! If you have any further questions please do get in touch.
My horse has had gastro guard 7 months ago after being diagnosed with ulcers.she had a protexin paste after this just 1 tube.very sentitive digestive system.
She has suffered a week of diaharea and now having 6 days of antibiotics ,thought she would need good bacteria back therefore should I give her protexin paste or quick fix as a course and if so how soon after the antibiotics have finished ?
I prefer the product Protexin Gut Balancer (Bio-Premium). This can be given while on the antibiotics but is most helpful immediately after they have finished. It should be continued for at least a week after the antibiotics have finished. Some horses with easily upset digestions seem to respond well to continuous use of this product, but you can assess this yourself if you try it. There are no side effects to be expected from it.
I am wondering if a course of protexin quick fix would help my 15yr old welsh x cob. She has had always had slightly loose droppings since we brought her in march. The problem began to get much worse a couple of months ago so she was wormed with strongid p this did ot change anything so on the vets advice she has just been wormed again with equest pramox and they have imroved greatly. she has also now been moved fields so i can manage her grazing and poo pick reguarly as this was not the case before. I wondered if a course of quick fix may help to settle her as she is still having a a herbal supplement daily to keep her droppings firmer does one syringe do the 6 day course or how many will i need? she weighs 444kg on a weighbridge.
It is always a bit of a shot in the dark trying to work out what will be most effective in cases like this. Trial and error plays a part, such as in the worming results you have had. It is great that you have seen a good response to your last wormer and so concentrating on good worm control in future might be the main thing. Protexin Quick Fix is in fact ideal also to try in this circumstance. It should be able to help and I would certainly give it a go. One syringe contains 30mls, enough for a 6 day course at the usual dose of 5mls per day.
