Can this be used for a fox with mange?
This medication is only licensed for use in Cows, Pigs and Sheep. Any use in foxes is off license and you will need to consult with your veterinarian for advice. We will need a written prescription from your vet to dispense the medication off license for this use.

Hi, I have 2 miniature pygmy goats, the breeder said she would help me with worming etc but has failed to do so... Would this product be suitable to treat them for worms? Thank you
Panomec is licensed for use in Cattle, Sheep and Pigs only. Unfortunately there are no over the counter wormers licensed for use in goats. We recommend discussing this with your local vet. They can provide off licence advice on a suitable worming plan for your goats, many sheep wormers can be used in goats however only alongside veterinary advice.

Does Panomec kill Ticks?
Panomec is not licensed to kill ticks according to the datasheet. However the active ingredient ivermectin does have off license effects against ticks, but as Panomec has not been tested for this then we cannot say it does or doesn't effect ticks.
There are other products licensed against ticks but this depends on what species of animal you are treating, please get in touch at [email protected] so we can advise if you wish.

Hi I’m just wondering does it come with a needle and is this a 1 time use what’s lefted do I though away or can I keep it for another time
This medication does not come with needles/syringes, these must be purchased separately. If you need help with this then please get in touch at [email protected].
This datasheet for this product states:
Shelf-life after first opening the immediate packaging: 6 months.
This means you can use the medication safely for up to 6 months after first breaching the vial, but only up until the expiry on the bottle and if kept in the correct storage conditions.

How many repeat doses can it require to get rid of sheep scab? I have a recurring scab problem.
Sheep scab is caused by the mite 'Psoroptes Ovis'. This is one of the parasites that Panomec treats so it should help control the condition. There is no specific doseage for sheep scab on the datasheet but NADIS have a useful information guide on this:
Dose: 2 injections, 7 days apart
Doramectin and Ivermectin have a short residual action and animals are
vulnerable to re-infection from other untreated animals or their
infected environment (if re-exposed within the 17 day survival period).
Sheep treated with these two products may also remain infective for up
to 14 days after treatment and must be separated from untreated animals.

Can this be used for oral administration for guinea pigs
This product is not licensed for use this way and so only your own vet is allowed to advise you to use an unlicensed medication for your animals. However I can say that Panomec is widely used in Guinea Pigs, usually as a treatment for mange. It is effective against other parasites too and appears to be very safe if used at an appropriate dose (which your vet could advise you on). It can be given orally or by injection. There are other products, such as Xeno 450, which contain the same active ingredient (ivermectin) and are recommended for use in Guinea Pigs, so you could look at that.
