Otoprof is a deep cleansing foaming ear flush for dogs with heavy wax accumulations. Useful for in-clinic GA ear flushing procedures, Otoprof contains DSS for a strong wax dissolving action alongside carbamide peroxide, a mild foaming agent that helps break up the wax and lift it to the surface. Propylene glycol helps soften wax and soothe the ear.

  • Carbamide peroxide
  • Propylene glycol
  • pH 6.7

Directions for use

  1. Use GA or Sedate the patient.
  2. Shake the bottle well before use and apply the fluid into the ear canal.
  3. Gently massage the base of the ear to activate the foaming action.
  4. Make sure the product does not run out of the ear before it has time to work. If necessary, use cotton wool to plug the ear.
  5. Remove the debris dislodged by the foaming action and rinse the ear thoroughly several times with saline or lukewarm water.
  6. Dry the whole ear and canal carefully.
  7. Due to the deep-cleansing action, wait for several minutes before applying ear drops.
