It was good to have a palatable way of delivering this important supplement to my elderly cat. Sadly my cat was too sick to fully benefit from the health benefits, but it certainly helped ensure optimum nutrition while his appetite was poor.

Very effective and better than prescription steriods

The cat likes the taste of the chews so easy to administer.

Two of my cats live it. Two will have nothing to do with it. So maybe it could be made to be more palpatable to a larger range of cats. Or made to be a little softer. It is fairly hard for a 'soft chew'.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Optixcare L-Lysine Chews for Cats, including answers from our team.
Scot
what's the youngest age a kitten can consume the treats and will they just need half a treat?
These can be given to kittens as soon as they are weaned. They only need half a treat at a time when very young and not every day at first. You can gradually increase how much they have as they get bigger, but the exact amount is not critical.

Can these be given to any cat or are they just for cats who have been diagnosed with feline herpes (my cat gets frequent eye infections which the vet treats with drops but he has not said what is causing them)
These chews can be given to all cats and they might well be beneficial for your cat. It might be worth asking your vet first, but I am sure they would be safe.
