Why are the food qty guidelines so different between the nuggets and the solid raw food? I have 2 giant breed dogs and the food levels are half a Kg different for each dog between the nuggets and the blocks (which according to your guide requires 1.5% of their weight). That is a dramatic difference I don't wish to over feed my dogs but neither do I wish to under feed them.

The Natures Menu Frozen Nuggets are a complete diet, which include vegetables and fruit, so the overall calorie content and nutrient composition will differ from a meat-only mince block. The Natures Menu Complete blocks also contain rice as well as vegetables and fruit, so again there would be a variation in nutritional content and more/less may be needed.
The feeding guidelines issued by Natures Menu can be altered slightly based on individual need, but the best place to start would be to follow the guidelines of the food you have currently, and adjust up or down slightly after a couple of weeks if you feel it is needed, and based on your dogs' activity levels and body condition.

How do you ensure the frozen nuggets do not defrost during delivery?

Thank you for your question,
We send our food out in insulated packaging to ensure the product remains and cold as possible, and stays frozen during transit. Between packing and courier collection from our warehouse, the packed order goes back into the freezer. We only dispatch freezer goods on a pre-noon servicem for which there is a small delivery fee.
