Bought this a little while ago and it is still solid as the cardboard is quite thick. However the grass/herb coating was quickly eaten off it and did fall off a fair bit to start with. Overall though its great quality for what you pay for.

My hamster loves to play in this tunnel. The size small is big enough for a syrian or dwarf hamster.

I was pleased to find that the large size is big enough for an adult not dwarf rabbit (2.75 Kg). I was disappointed that it's not made out of hay (as one might think from the pictures). In fact it's a wooden cylinder, I think some sort of melamine or MDF, with a thin layer of hay glued on top. The hay layer is thinner than in the pictures, and since it tends to detach, it's a very messy product. Also, since it's a firm perfect cylinder, it rolls and doesn't stay put unless you anchor it somehow. Obviously one toy is pretty short, so creating a real tunnel will require quite a few, if you can find a way to stick them together safely. If you want a tunnel for your rabbit, use a cat tunnel, they are much better in any way. This hay tunnels maybe good for small animals in cages. My rabbit tried it for a few minutes, but lost interest pretty fast.

All my rabbits love these. It keeps them occupied for hours at a time. I always get the large size for safety concerns as I once had a rabbit get their head stuck in a similar gnaw tube.
