Five Star Oestress from NAF is a nutritious blend of herbal extracts which promotes aid for mares during season. The ingredients also act as a general supplement for the mare's hormonal system. As well as making her relax, NAF Five Star Oestress supports her system against anxiety and muscle tension. It also contains natural antioxidants to flush the system of toxins.

Available in both powder and liquid form, NAF Five Star Oestress should be fed daily through the spring and summer and can be incresed in accordance with the oestrus cycle. It can, however, be used all year round.

Powder or liquid?

Hi, is there a difference in the strength of product between the liquid and powder? Is one better than the other or just personal preference? The mare in question has painful ovaries and is feeling tender and grumpy, looking for something to soothe her so she can be ridden again! Thanks.

  • Veterinary Advisor

The choice between the two is basically personal preference. General advise to horse owners is to start the mare on the liquid as due to the solution extraction process for the herbs, we do find herbs in a liquid form become active within the system slightly quicker but the strength of the two is the same.
