Flexi bits are made from a polyurethane material, meaning they are light and flexible. Soft to the horse's mouth, this bit from Lorina is suitable for young sensitive horses, recently backed horses and horses uncomfortable in a conventional steel bit. The 'peanut' joint increases flexibility and rests on the tongue better than some other bits. The 3 ring bit should be used with two reins; one on the lower, smaller ring, the other on the main snaffle ring.
