These guards from Lorina protect the horse's lips from the bit rings chafing and pinching, prevent the bit from moving in the horse's mouth, and provide a better fit if the bit is too wide. They are used with loose ring Snaffle Bits, Gag Bits and Pelham Bits to name a few. They are normally applied for jumping events and polo, whilst they are not permitted in competitive dressage or horse show Hunt Seat. Sold in pairs.
