My scottish mare has a lush thick and long mane and tail. She doesnt like being groomed but this product does what it says and detangling and brushing is now a pleasurable and not a painful experience for her.

I've used 5 Star Detangler for a couple of years. It's brilliant for keeping my horse's mane and tail silky and tangle free, and helps repel mud. I also use it as a coat conditioner (he's a retired veteran) and spray it liberally on his shoulders to prevent his rug rubbing and it works a treat.

Does this product contain silicone in any form?
Hi Anita,
Thank you for your question. I do apologise for the delay in getting back to you, we have been waiting to hear back from Leovet who are based in Germany. They say the 5 Star Detangler contains 5% silicone.
