The rope part is lovely, but the clip feels insubstantial. I am not sure that it would be strong enough for my 17hh shire, so its gone in my box as a spare, so I am only estimating durability.

Very good product only one problem is the end by the clip came apart. It could have do with a stick to stop it from coming out.
