I have 3 chinese crested dogs and as they have very little or no hair, it is extremely important to me that the coat is warm, waterproof and smooth on the inside so there are no rough bits chafing their skin. I have 3 of these coats (size 35mm 2 Lingon and 1 Granite) and have just purchased another in a larger size (45mm)due to the rescue dog I got in July putting on more weight. It is important to ensure that the coat is long enough, otherwise the elasticated loops for the back legs can chafe the skin. My other 2 dogs are approx both the same length but one is thinner than the other. This coat has a toggle to shorten the length (by about an inch)near the tail and also has adjustable fastenings around the body on the flap that goes underneath between the front legs. The quality of this coat is excellent and it has a shiny silver very smooth lining for extra warmth. I understand that this is a Finnish brand, so I am happy that as their winters ar far colder than ours, this coat does a great job. I thought it was expensive but it is well worth it for the quality which is why I am buying another one. It also washes well and has not shrunk or lost its colour.

Does this coat have an opening for a harness to be attached to a lead?

As dogs come in all shapes and sizes, I would highly recommend measuring the dogs back length, neckline and chest to ensure you order the correct size.
