Hilton Herbs Cush X is a clinically trialled and tested supportive feed supplement for horses and ponies, formulated to maintain a balanced endocrine system whatever their age. Owners have reported excellent results with this supplement, especially with older horses and ponies who struggle to shed their coats in Spring/Summer.
Powder
Vitex Agnus castus seed, Goat's Rue, Bilberry, Artichoke, Milk Thistle seed, Golden Rod herb.
Liquid
Herbal tinctures of Vitex Agnus castus seed, Goat's Rue, Bilberry, Artichoke, Milk Thistle seed, and Golden Rod herb blended with unpasteurised Apple Cider Vinegar.
Powder
Hilton Herbs Cush X should be added to the feed on a daily basis, if possible splitting the required amount between two feeds. Our liquid supplements could be given direct into the mouth (by way of a syringe) which can be useful if no feed is given during the Summer months.
The amount of herbs you need to give is generally dependent on the height of your horse, with some allowance for type. Full instructions will be found on the packaging. The quantity of herbs added to your horse or pony's feed can be slightly increased or decreased, depending on the circumstances. Very often a lower maintenance dose can be sufficient for a horse or pony that is going to be kept on the herbs long-term. Remember, like humans, all horses and ponies are individuals.

Started giving this to my mare who has cushings and you can see the improvement daily

Very palatable which is important for a pony who is fussy and has lots of supplements including Prasend which is not a nice taste. Liquid herbs are much better than dried. Product is very good value for money

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Hilton Herbs Cush X for Horses, including answers from our team.
Griffin
Can this product be fed alongside Prescend or are there contraindications
Yes this product can safely be used alongside Prascend. I recommend discussing it's use with your prescribing vet though if you can, just in case it interferes with their treatment protocol.

I have done lots of Google questions but can't find a single page that even attempts to answer.
I have a 13 year old dog that has all the symptoms of cushing's. Vet is convinced but due to age etc it's been decided and recommended not to treat.
Last month I bought 2 bottles of Cushex S and the 2nd type M and they have definitely worked. Getting close to ordering again but I was wondering if there is any difference with the horse stuff? Seems far cheaper and as it's natural I'm seriously wondering if this might be the wiser way to buy. If you truly know, I'd love to hear from you. Perhaps you've used it in a dog? Thank you for any useful and helpful information in advance of your replies.
This supplement is licensed only for use in horses so unfortunately there is no data to say if it is safe for helpful for use in Cushingoid dogs.
Cushings in horses is actually better named 'pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction', which is where an endocrine pathway in the brain does not function properly. This is different to dogs who usually have a tumour located at the adrenal glands. The treatments are therefore both very different so it is unlikely a horse remedy will treat cushings in your dog. I strongly recommend discussing medicative treatments with your vet. The most common of these in dogs in 'Vetoryl'.

Because I'm from Holland the expression HH dasn't say much to me. Is it possible to indicate how many scoops per weight in kilos ?? Thanks
HH refers to your horse's height in 'hands'. If you would like information on converting HH into Kilograms then we have a useful blog on our website that can help you do this:

How many scoops can be expected in a tub please?
Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch.
This product comes with a 50g scoop. Depending on the size of your horse, it will determine how long the tub will last.
The feeding guidelines are:
Up to 12.2hh : 1 scoop daily
Hope that helps.
