Recommended For:

  • Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD): IRIS Stages 3, 4. All IRIS stages with proteinuria.
  • Acute kidney insult. Uraemic encephalopathy. Leishmaniasis with concurrent CKD

Not Recommended For:

  • Growing puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs.
  • Patients with hyperlipidaemia, pancreatitis, history of pancreatitis or at risk of pancreatitis.

Dry:

COMPOSITION:

  • Cereals, oils and fats (fish oil 1.6%), derivatives of vegetable origin, eggs and egg derivatives, vegetable protein extracts, meat and animal derivatives, minerals, seeds. Protein sources: Dried whole eggs, pea protein.

ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS:

  • Protein 13.8%, Fat content 19.2%, Crude fibre 3.3%, Crude ash 4.2%, Omega-3 fatty acids 1.0%, Calcium 0.57%, Phosphorus 0.22%, Sodium 0.17%, Potassium 0.69%, Magnesium 0.10%; per kg: Vitamin A 10,965IU, Vitamin D3 877IU, Vitamin E 600mg, Vitamin C 90mg, Beta-carotene 1.5mg, L-Carnitine 532mg.

  • Meat and animal derivatives (chicken 5%), cereals, oils and fats, derivatives of vegetable origin, various sugars, eggs and egg derivatives, vegetables (1.1%), minerals, seeds. Protein sources: Chicken, pork liver, dried eggs.

ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS:

  • Protein 3.6%, Fat content 5.2%, Crude fibre 0.75%, Crude ash 1.0%, Moisture 77.9%, Calcium 0.17%, Phosphorus 0.07%, Sodium 0.04%, Potassium 0.22%, Magnesium 0.03%; per kg: Vitamin A 9,699IU, Vitamin D3 329IU.

Exclusively feed the recommended Prescription Diet food. Before use ask your veterinarian for specific feeding instructions for your pet.

Fresh water should be available at all times.

New to this food? Mix increasing amounts of your pet's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food for 7 days or more. Your pet's nutritional needs may change as they age. Ask your vet at every checkup.

Yes we do stock Hills K/D in wet food (tins). They are currently on a long term supply delay so I recommend checking out Purina NF Renal or Royal Canin Renal as replaccements, however you should run any dietary changes past your vet.
