55 Dog treats

I initially bought these as my dog has suspected early CKD and I wanted a treat for him that was suitable. The treats are about the size of a 50p piece. They're more crumbly than soft and my dog loves them, and he doesn't feel left out when my other dogs have their after dinner chew 😁 I'm reviewing them on our 2nd order because I wanted to make sure my dog's interest wasn't a flash in the pan, which it wasn't. Not cheap but well worth the price as far as I'm concerned

45 Pup very excited by these

Very big treats. They are quite soft and I break them into 6+ pieces. They are very exciting to 7m old pup with renal dysplasia. We are still training and still hard to get kidney friendly treats. Pup much more enthusiastic for these than his own kibble!

Megan

Hello im looking for a treat that’s suitable that on prescription hills ud diet can you help please?

  • VioVet Staff

I recommend sticking to the U/D veterinary diet only wherever possible until your vet advises it is ok to change. If your pet needs this diet in the long term then it is best discussing with them if you can feed other food alongside it. Usual advice is to stick to only the veterinary diet as this is the way they work best, there are no U/D treats available unfortunately.
