Which Hills dry food

Sian

Is there a guide to which dry food to get? I’ve recently changed my 8 month miniature cockapoo to Hill's Science Plan Puppy Small & Miniature Chicken Dog Food. He loves it, I just wanted to check if this is suitable, as I note they produce a medium kibble also. Your advice would be much appreciated. Thank you

  • VioVet Staff

This depends on the adult weight of your dog. The small and miniature puppy diet is suitable for dogs with an expected adult weight of less than 10kg. If over 10kg then I advise the medium breed kibble.

Some of dog.

I have a 20 week Cavapoo now weighing 11kg. Thinking of moving him from AVA to Hills. Small dog or medium dog?

  • VioVet Staff

This is subjective and depends on how much cavalier vs poodle your dog has in them. If your dog is 11kg already at an age of 5 months old then I advise using the medium dog diet.
