55 Happy Tummy

By on 10 October 2022

I had tried so many foods to find a food that did not upset my dogs tummy, I tried raw, cold pressed, fresh cooked, other kibbles etc and just could not find anything. Finally tried Hills and my dog has been so much better. No waking me in the night, no gurgling stomach, no unsettled pacing. Very happy dog

Yeast infection

Danielle Taylor

Will your skin and sensitive brand help with yeast infection

  • VioVet Staff

This diet does not contain any ingredients that will specifically help with a yeast infection of the skin. It may be used to help control allergic skin disease that could be underlying this infection but only if your pet is allergic to food and not to any of it's ingredients. I suggest discussing the infection further with your vet as it is likely treatment will be needed to control it..

Analytical constituents please

Vivien, Watts

  • VioVet customer since 2016

Could you provide details of analytical constituents please, e.g. Protein, Fat etc. I ask because I have an elderly Cocker Spaniel who is prone to Pancreatitis and I keep fat levels in her food low. I also have a young Sprocker with a tendency to tummy upsets and it would be so good to be able to give them the same food.

Your dog may benefit from a more natural feed like Natures Menu or even a raw diet as these are 100% natural. It would be best to check with the vet first though if your dog has a condition. With regards to eating their faeces, a supplement like VETIQ Stool Repel will help to deter them from eating it.

I hope this helps.
