Food sensitivity and intolerance are potentially serious problems that can result in irritated skin, coat and ear conditions or even gastrointestinal upset.
Cats that have a food sensitivity or intolerance, also called adverse food reactions, typically experience an abnormal response to the protein in the food. If your cat suffers from an adverse food reaction, it is even more important to feed the right food.
Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians developed Prescription Diet z/d clinical nutrition especially formulated to reduce skin & digestive signs from food intolerances. In fact, z/d is clinically proven nutrition to help avoid adverse food reactions. This canned food has a ground texture with an irresistible taste that makes it easy for your cat to love.

At first my cat seemed to love this, then she went off it a bit and is now eating it again but in reduced amounts. It's a vet prescribed hydrolysed diet and from that point of view I'm honestly not sure how well it's working. Only time will tell. It hasn't really done anything for her liquid stools but had reduced the amount she seems to be vomiting. It is extremely thick and gooey though and so water nearby is essential to help aid with chewing down the stickiness. It is also a shame the product only seems to be on sale in such bulk buys. 6 or even 12 cans at a time would be a better option. It's also very expensive and I wonder if that is because it actually takes a lot more to make it or just because its the only one out there, they can charge what they want.

The food helped my cat with Corona Virus immensely.
It has stabilised her very upset tummy within days.
However the carrier DP or similar were dreadful. They said there were delivering it on 4 consecutive days and it finally turned up on the 5th.
They let Viovet down and make me reluctant to re-order.

Cats won't eat it ! I have two cats. One will literally ( usually!) eat tons of anything you put in front of him, he's a garnet, he won't touch this, the other one ( who the food was really for) will not eat it either. It is a pureed consistency ( no lumps) and liver flavour ( I think) they just hate it, wasted my money and was very expensive, and my cat with a serious skin problem is no better off !

It’s a bit claggy for my cat so I loosen it with water and he’s fine with it.

I ordered this product from viovet as it was out of stock at the vet. Everything looks the same but when I opened the cans I realised was slightly different, dryer then expected and when I break it down it looks less wet and more powdery also the cats don't want to eat it and the smell is slightly different. Not happy with the product from viovet but happy with the same product from the vet. I tried to give the cats few cans but they just don't eat it.
